Flower Crown Care 101: How to Store, Display, and Reuse Your Crown
Most people treat a flower crown as a one-day accessory: wear it, take the photos, and forget about it until it eventually gets tossed. That's a reasonable way to treat a fresh flower crown, which has no choice but to wilt within a day or two. A dried flower crown, though, is built for a much longer life — if it's cared for correctly between wears rather than left crushed in a box.
Right After Wearing It
The moments right after an event are when a crown is most vulnerable to damage, since it's often been sat on, packed into a bag, or handled by several different people over the course of the day. Before storing it, gently reshape any flattened or bent flowers with your fingers rather than forcing them back into place too quickly, and let the crown sit undisturbed somewhere flat for a day before boxing it up, especially if it was worn somewhere humid.
